Local artist plans to open first graffiti museum in Houston

HOUSTON - A local artist is planning to open the world's first ever "graffiti museum" in Houston.

It isn't your normal paint job and some might confuse it with tagging, but artist Gonzo247 is helping turn itinto a legitimate art form.

The artist has painted several colorful murals around town, using Houston as his canvas.

"A ton of colors and for me those colors and those patterns essentially represent the huge diversity of Houston," said Gonzo247.

If you haven't seen his work yet, you will get a chance to at the upcoming Houston Urban Experience Festival. Ninety artists from all over the world will legally paint 18 buildings across Houston, from October 17th to the 24th.... For the full story click here
